My fiancé and I were very excited to have had the opportunity to purchase a brand new home as our first home.  We saw it being built from the ground up. We were so thrilled we had secured people to assist us with the move and requested days off from work well in advance. But as we approached our closing date we felt our dreams of home ownership drifting away. We were faced with one issue after another. About a week before our scheduled closing we were told our loan application with our first mortgage company would not be processed by the expected date or anywhere close to our closing date. Our dream was becoming our worst nightmare. This was when Rachel with L&G Mortgagebanc stepped in. She started our application the first day we spoke. She assured us she would do her very best to get us into our home by the end of the month which was about 8 days away. We were skeptical at this point but with Rachel’s upbeat positive attitude she kept us hopeful. She provided us updates every step of the way. We spoke to her at least once a day until we closed. She was diligent, working into the night some nights. To our disbelief we were sitting at the closing table a week after our initial meeting with Rachel to sign off on the final documents. Rachel was a life saver! She saved us from losing our home and we will be forever grateful for all that she did for us!
